Visual artist & printmaker

With an artistic practice rooted in drawing, Skaug moves freely between printmaking and large-scale outdoor drawing. Her project based work comes from a place of fascination with how our relationship with nature influences our lives, our mental health and our values. Through her large pastel works she explores landscapes and studies the impact of human activity in the sites she portrays. Taking shape outside the traditional studio space, her work attempts to break down barriers, finding new ways of interacting - rather than interfering with nature.
